This self-paced presentation explains how hearings and trials work, identifies the documents you are required to file, provides basic information you need to know, and gives some basic tips on how to prepare your case.

It is geared to Alaska statutes and protocols, but provides a good framework for pro se litigants in other areas that may not have any self-help resources in their communities.
