Ask for something specific—their sponsorship of a bill, their vote,their advocacy, etc.

Ask if there is any other info the legislative contact would like

Ask how else the legislative contact might help you

Verbally review what you have agreed to do
for the legislator and what the legislator has agreed to do for you
